Using flags in OmniFocus

Nice short post by Augusto Pinaud (@apinaud) on how he is using flags in OmniFocus. In essence it is very similar to the way I use and recommend using flags in OmniFocus: Bringing attention to your Most Important Task (MITs) every day. Augusto reminds us of some very important aspects like resetting your flags every morning and really forcing yourself to not flag more than three to five tasks at a time. However, the most remarkable elements of his posts are the ones about staying “real”.

… for example if you mark three items, for witch context is @Office, and at nine in the morning you got the call that your kid is sick. Well you will pack the computer, go home and those items will not be done that day, even if you accomplish many more, those will be there in the morning, you just need to learn the difference between that, and procrastination.
Yes, people, these are just lists and they are less important than what is happing here and now or whatever you decide to work on at any given moment in time. Just lists. That’s it.
