Not too long ago I wrote about the Keyboard Maestro-based integration between OmniFocus and Due.app allowing you to export the currently selected action from OmniFocus to Due.app which would subsequently synchronise with it's iOS counter parts via iCloud.
Meanwhile Sean Korzdorfer has reworked this solution into a more robust AppleScript which will not only work for those that do not have Keyboard Maestro, but also accepts multiple tasks being selected in OmniFocus as input.
- Will use the task’s start date if it is set to a future date
- Will use the task’s due date if it is set to a future date and there is no start date, or the start date is in the past
- Will ask the user for the reminder time if the task has no future start or due date
The script also appends the task’s url to the reminder so you can quickly return to the task upon completing the Due app reminder.
